The Family Resource Center serves as a valuable asset for children, parents, and caregivers in our community, providing them with a place to learn about health conditions, find lodging, learn about community support.
Monongalia County Elementary Schools are invited to participate in the “Quarter Back” Challenge in correspondence with Walk The Talk With Hoss 5K Race, 2.7 Mile Walk, and LIL’ Mountaineer Training Camp.
The classroom that raises the most quarters will win a classroom party with NFL Superbowl Winning Quarterback Jeff Hostetler. Jeff will even bring his Super Bowl rings for the class to try on.
Restaurants & food purveyors will be dishing out a variety of Wings.
Wings will work on a ticket system ($1 per ticket with special pricing on larger quantities) – there will be various ticket stations throughout the festival & all tickets will be exchanged at each vendor for wings.
There will be beverage stations & beer gardens serving WV Craft Beer, wine, water, soda & other refreshments.
Walk The Talk With Hoss event sponsored by the Hoss Foundation in support of the Hoss Foundation/Hostetler Family Resource Center (FRC) at WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital. The Hoss Foundation FRC is dedicated to the support of family-centered care. Its mission is to ensure families are armed with the needed resources while receiving care and services so that their sole focus can be on their child during their stay at WVU Medicine Children’s.
Our mission is to promote the Christian traditions of family values and assist in the financial process of adoption.
We provide financial assistance to help families with the cost of adoption. We do not assist in the adoption process; we wait until the couple starts the process with an adoption agency and are assigned a home study. After the state representative approves them, we then assess their financial need based on their income capabilities.
Reach out and give a hand. Give a breath of hope. Join our team and make an impact!
